Race Day: Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Alton Baker Park in Eugene

The 21^st Anniversary of the Rotary Duck Race celebrates over $4 million in fundraising. Every ticket sold generates $5 to help stop the cycle of child abuse. Your club’s efforts are critical to the success of the five recipient agencies this year; Relief Nursery (Springfield), Child Advocacy Center, Heart Gallery, Looking Glass, and Committed Partners for Youth.

You make all the difference to the children in your community!

Ticket Handling Instructions

• Please do not un-staple ticket books.

• Turn in your sold books of tickets as you sell them. Please don’t wait until the very end.

• Every ticket must have, at a minimum, a name and phone number of the buyer.

• Collect $5 for each ticket. Checks payable to “URC” or United Rotary Clubs” or “Rotary”.

• Tear the ticket at the perforation and give the buyer the part you remove.

• Remind purchasers to retain their tickets. Numbers must be validated in order to receive prize(s).

• Tickets can’t be sold to minors without their parents consent. When selling to a minor include the parents name on the ticket.

• You are responsible for tickets. Every ticket must be accounted for, either sold with the stub filled out, or unsold with both parts of the ticket intact. If unsold tickets are lost, you are expected to buy them and are submitted under your name. If you lose sold tickets, you need to re-create the names and contact information of the purchasers of lost tickets.

• Ask your Club Captain about getting additional books of tickets if needed.
