This marks the 21st year of the Great Rotary Duck Race. Over the past 20 years, local Rotarians raised over $4 million dollars to help support child abuse prevention and neglect in Lane County. Our goal this year is to raise over $350,000 dollars to fund local agencies working on the front lines to ensure our children fully develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Enclosed is a description of each recipient agency chosen to receive proceeds from the 2008 Rotary Duck Race.

Each ticket you purchase for $5 represents one rubber duck launched on the Willamette River October 4th racing to win you a fabulous prize. Purchase books of tickets ($125 each) and increase your chance of winning. Enclosed is a list of this year's prizes, including a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta, a hot tub ...

My personal goal this year is to raise $____ .  I appreciate any help you can offer toward reaching that goal.

If you would like to participate, please make checks payable to the Great Rotary Duck Race.  Your tickets will arrive in the mail.
